Refund and Returns Policy
Everlasting Containers Cancellation, Modification, and Damaged Goods Policy
At Everlasting Containers, we understand that circumstances can change, and we are committed to working with our customers to address any issues that may arise with their orders. As our services primarily involve the shipping and delivery of containers, we don’t operate with a traditional return and refund policy. However, we do offer options for cancellations, modifications, and handling damaged goods in transport. Please read the following policy for further details:
1. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations Before Shipment:
If you wish to cancel your order before your container is shipped, we will provide a full refund. Please notify us as soon as possible to ensure the cancellation is processed before your container is loaded for transit.Cancellations After Shipment:
Once your container has shipped, cancellations are generally not accepted. However, if the container is still at the origin port, a partial refund may be considered, subject to incurred fees such as storage, processing, and other logistical costs. Once the container has departed, you will need to wait for delivery and follow the refund procedures upon arrival.
2. Modifications
Modifications Before Shipment:
Changes to shipment details, such as destination ports or cargo descriptions, may be possible before shipment. These modifications may be subject to a modification fee. Please contact us as early as possible to request any changes.Modifications After Shipment:
Due to the complexities of international shipping, modifications after shipment are typically not feasible. Once the container is in transit, changes to the shipment are generally not possible.
3. Damaged Goods
During Transport:
In the unfortunate event of cargo damage during transport, we recommend that you have cargo insurance in place (which we strongly advise). We will assist you in filing a claim with your cargo insurance provider and can offer administrative support during the claims process.Upon Arrival:
If you discover damage upon arrival at the destination port, you must notify the port authorities immediately and file a damage report within the required timeframe (typically 3-7 days) in order to initiate a claim for the damages.
4. Important Notes
